Position Description

As a BFA Project Manager you are responsible for overseeing the planning, execution and delivery of defense-related projects for the organization. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders and external partners, in order to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget and within scope.   • Develop detailed project plans to execute and monitor projects.   
  • Become proficient in BFA project management software.  
  • Lead projects from requirements definition through delivery of defined objectives.    
  • Create schedules, scopes of work, and budget estimates.  
  • Monitor project risks, identify potential roadblocks, and make recommendations.  
  • Maintain project documentation, develop reports, presentations, and other materials.  
  • Delegate project tasks based on team members' strengths, skill sets, and experience.  
  • Track project performance, to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals.  
  • Perform Earned Value Assessment for assigned projects.  
  • Establish and maintain relationships with relevant client stakeholders.  
  • Consolidate project status and provide periodically scheduled updates.  
  • Exemplify day-to-day positive attitude and belonging in accordance with the “Culture Code.”   
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.  

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or equivalent experience.   
  • 3 to 5 years direct experience managing Department of Defense projects.   
  • Experience with Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS).  
  • Excellent client-facing and internal oral and written communication skills.  
  • PMP certification or equivalent preferred.  

Salary & Benefits

Expected Salary Range $80,000 – 150,000 depending on role and qualifications.
